Z-GPRS3 is a data logger designed to meet the growing requirements for data acquisition, real-time analysis and integration with the IT systems used in plant/process automation and monitoring. In line with the new Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things productivity and communication models, it features a high-performance GPRS modem, 4 integrated communication ports (1 Ethernet 100 Mbps, 1 RS232/RS485, 1 RS485, 1 MicroUSB), 8 integrated I/O channels (4DI/counters/totalisers, 2AI, 2DO), voice alarms/audio commands with DTMF tones, and support for Ftp, Smtp, Smtps, http rest, https, ModBUS RTU, ModBUS TCP-IP and SMS communication protocols.

Z-GPRS3 provides maximum openness to external and third-party systems (PLC, HMI) thanks to its compliance with technology standards such as ModBUS RTU Master/Slave and ModBUS TCP-IP Server/Client. This unit supports different SIM types and is equipped with 8MB Flash memory, a microSD slot expandable up to 32 GB and a real-time multitasking operating system. Like all advanced SENECA data loggers, Z-GPRS3 also features an integrated UPS providing up to 1 hour of operating time without primary power. This unit ensures open and flexible programming through a dedicated control-logic development environment, an integrated Web Server, a mobile app SENECA SMS (iOS/Android) for direct management of commands via SMS and a data import/viewing tool. Z-UMTS, Z-GPRS3 and Z-LOGGER3 can be integrated with Scada systems and third-party Clouds.
