Measurements accuracy with integrated data acquisition, evaluation and archiving
SENECA Data Acquisition has always been a key pillar of our product and solution portfolio. Our corporate mission is to ensure the entire signal processing cycle, including power supply and galvanic isolation, through to data presentation. By "Data Acquisition" we mean the automatic collection of data (such as pressures, flow rates, temperatures, energy levels, and counts) generally from sensors, transducers, and analyzers. This collection allows monitoring of instruments, plants, variables, and parameters even from remote sites via appropriate data transmission lines (serial, Fieldbus, Ethernet, fiber optic, radio).
On the hardware side, SENECA offers opto-isolated I/O modules both stand-alone and integrated into high-performance CPUs, which include analog, digital, and sensor inputs (TC, RTD, load cells), as well as single-phase and three-phase network analyzers. These modules support Modbus RTU, Profinet, or CANopen interfaces. The Z-PC Series for data acquisition offers a wide range of flexibility, with possibilities for use in switchboards, subpanels, and installations of various types, including single modules, portable or benchtop kits, local or remote automation panels, and pulpits.
On the software side, SENECA provides a range of Windows PC applications and tools, including DATA RECORDER, Web Editor, Microsoft Visual Studio libraries, OPC technologies, and NI LabView drivers, to ensure complete and efficient management of acquired data.
