R-PASS-S Energy is a sophisticated control unit compliant with the IEC 61131 standard, designed to integrate natively with the SENECA LET'S remote assistance and remote control platform and optimised for Industry 4.0. This advanced CPU ensures reliable and secure data management, combining PLC functions (Straton IDE development environment) with routing and remote access capabilities. It supports Point-To-Point connections for Remote Assistance and Single-LAN connections for Remote Control, offering maximum flexibility and ease of use (for further details visit www.seneca.it/lets).

The R-PASS-S Energy controller enables the creation of client/server connectivity systems adaptable to different levels of complexity and simultaneous access requirements for the plant or individual machines. Expandable with the R-COMM communication module featuring a 4G LTE modem/router, this device provides a complete and versatile solution for modern connectivity needs.

With 2 Ethernet ports configurable as SWITCH or LAN/WAN, 3 serial ports, optional WiFi connectivity and a USB port, R-PASS-S Energy supports a wide range of industrial protocols and protocols for Energy Management applications such as IEC 60870-101, IEC 60870-104 and IEC 61850 (optional). The device integrates a powerful 32 bit ARM CPU, 1 GB of Flash memory, 64 MB of RAM and a memory expansion slot with microSD support. Configuration is performed intuitively through the Z-NET4 environment and the integrated web server.
