Z-AIR-1 (prod. ante 06/2019)

Z-AIR-1 is an IP65 radio modem with RS485 serial interface and integrated antenna, suitable for outdoor applications. The module operates in the 868–870 MHz UHF band with sub-bands channelised at 25 kHz or 50 kHz. Z-AIR-1 is licence-free and requires no notification of frequency use/occupation in accordance with Recommendation ERC70-3. Integrating the radio modem with the antenna greatly improves system efficiency by eliminating connection losses that are particularly detrimental at high frequencies. Unlike its predecessor (Z-AIR), this variant complies with Directive 2014/453/EU RED and offers multiple operating modes: point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, broadcasting and ModBUS in master/slave or multimaster modes, programmable via software. These modes make Z-AIR-1 a flexible product suitable for many industrial applications.
