Z-AIR-1

Z-AIR-1 is an IP65 radio modem with RS485 serial interface and built-in antenna suitable for outdoor applications. The module operates on an 868 - 870 MHz UHF band with 25 kHz or 50 kHz channeled sub-bands. Z-AIR-1 in free use does not require communication of use/frequency employment in accordance with recommendation ERC70-3. The integration of the radio modem with the antenna considerably improves system efficiency by eliminating the connection losses that are penalized on high frequencies. Unlike its predecessor (Z-AIR), this variant conforms to Directive 2014/453/EU RED and offers multiple operating modes: point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, broadcasting, and ModBUS in the master/slave or multi-master modes, programmable via software. These modes make the Z-AIR-1 a flexible product suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
