Z-KEY-WIFI

Z-KEY-WIFI is a device that extends networks and enables process data to pass between different levels of the IT and industrial communication architecture. The integrated WiFi module enables wireless connection in Station or Access Point mode. Z-KEY-WIFI ensures signal transmission between ModBUS TCP-IP and ModBUS RTU in different modes, effectively increasing the number of connectable nodes and the distances that can be covered on the network. The device can also extend the serial network by operating as a Remote virtual COM transparent to the serial communication protocol.

Equipped with 1 Fast Ethernet 100 Tx port, an a/b/g/n WiFi module and 2 serial ports (RS232/RS485, RS485), Z-KEY offers multiple options with simplified configuration available via DIP switches, integrated web server, Excel templates, software (SESC, SDD, EASY Z-KEY) or mobile app. In gateway mode, the device supports up to 8 TCP client connections and 500 tags simultaneously, while in bridge mode it supports a virtually unlimited number of tags. Advanced functions include support for SENECA's "Cloud BOX" IoT Server, advanced serial diagnostics and a "quarantine mode" with configurable time for failed devices.
