SURPRISE Smart Display (HW rev. A0)

SURPRISE Smart Display (SSD) is a next-generation IIoT Gateway/Router with a 7'' touchscreen HMI panel. The device integrates a powerful ARM microprocessor, a high brightness display with proximity sensor, dual Ethernet ports, integrated I/O channels, WiFi module, and two serial ports. SSD is a multi-purpose device that includes advanced gateway functionality, data logger, alarm management, Wi-Fi router, logic functions, VPN technology, remote assistance / remote control functions, and a convenient widget-based data display that requires no programming skills.

Configuration is via webserver and does not require expensive development environments or programming skills like common HMIs. Through the graphic touchscreen interface, it is possible to set network and serial communication parameters, display graphs, manage alarms, send commands and customize the graphic appearance of the supervision pages with over 16 widgets and a DB of 480 images.

SSD generates integrated HMI and client/server connectivity solutions for building systems of varying complexity and with different simultaneous access points to the plant or individual machine. The device also integrates with data analysis, supervision, and management systems, ERP and MES, through the use of IIoT protocols such as MQTT and OPC-UA. SSD is ideal for providing digitized and interconnected industrial solutions to maximize the productivity and efficiency of your plants under Industry 4.0 standards.
Eight one-off licensed versions are available, depending on requirements. SENECA also offers the possibility of upgrading the user license at a later date.
