The K109UI instrument is a converter with three-way galvanic isolation for industrial-standard voltage or current signals, with passive input and active output. Analogue-to-digital conversion is 14 bit on each input range. It also provides the following functions: programmable rejection for 50 Hz or 60 Hz mains frequency, additional filter to stabilise readings, input and output range inversion, programmable input overrange at 2.5% or 5%, square-root extraction, and linearisation for horizontal cylindrical tanks. The module also features an extremely compact size, mounting on 35 mm DIN rail, bus power supply capability, quick connections via spring terminals, three-way isolation and field configuration via DIP switch.
