Z-KEY-MBUS (HW rev. A0)

M-BUS is the main bus used for energy metering and smart meter management, i.e. the separate recording of heat, water, electricity and gas consumption. Z-KEY-MBUS is a converter that can read, convert and transfer data from ModBUS RTU/TCP-IP to up to 25 Meter-BUS instruments and vice versa. It integrates one Ethernet port, two serial ports, one micro USB port and one M-BUS port.

This product is ideal for applications where Meter-Bus analysers, meters, sensors and devices need to be interfaced or integrated into a network. This converter can scan the M-BUS network to detect devices, automatically download their configuration and automatically build the ModBUS mapping, specifying the address and data type.

Z-KEY-MBUS is configured through the Web Server without the need for external software. The device also features a constantly updated database of the main M-Bus devices to facilitate offline configuration.
