S500-MOD

The S500-MOD module collects the measured values from the connected meter and transmits them to a remote station. These data are transmitted over an RS485 line using the ModBUS RTU or ASCII protocol. MODBUS is the most widely used communication protocol designed to enable communication between industrial instruments. The RS485 module has a SET DEFAULT button to restore all communication parameters to factory settings. This is particularly useful if the logical ModBUS address has been forgotten. The two LEDs on the RS485 module indicate power supply and communication status.
