OPC Server DA (Data Access) communication and data-exchange software
OPC Data Access (DA) is a group of standards providing specifications for the real-time communication of data from data-acquisition devices such as PLCs to displays and human-machine interfaces (SCADA/HMI). With the standard OPC DA interface, no experience with manufacturer-specific protocols is required. This significantly reduces development, commissioning and maintenance effort. The specifications focus on continuous data communication. OPC DA specifications are based on Microsoft COM technology and define a C/C++ interface.
