Z-LINK2

Z-LINK2 is an 869 MHz radio device designed to transparently remote communications operating with the ModBUS RTU protocol and using the physical layer of LoRa (Long Range) transmission technology. Based on a UHF radio modem, Z-LINK2 enables communication between Z-PC series I/O modules and ModBUS devices. Z-LINK2 stands out for easy wiring of the power supply and serial bus via the bus housed in the CEI EN 60715 omega rail. The module can be easily configured using DIP switches or «EASY SETUP» PC software. It also features 2 serial ports (1 RS232, 1 RS485) and a communication-to-power-supply isolation level of 1.500 V. Compliant with ETSI standards and the AES 128 bit dynamic data encryption protocol, Z-LINK2 can operate in bridge, repeater and remote I/O modes with point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections. LoRa technology enables the radio modem to achieve extensive coverage (up to 1 km with an external antenna), 25 mW transmission power, greater interference immunity and high sensitivity.

Note: The A-GSM-MG antenna is not a mandatory accessory but is strongly recommended for better signal quality. The product is not compatible with previous-generation radio modems.
