Z-KEY-P (HW rev. A0/B0/C0/D0)

Z-KEY-P is a gateway capable of transmitting data bidirectionally between Profinet IO and ModBUS RTU / ASCII / TCP-IP industrial networks. Equipped with 2 serial ports and 1 Ethernet 100 BaseT port, the device is compatible with the most common PLCs that support the Profinet IO standard. 
Z-KEY-P autonomously reads the registers of ModBUS devices on the serial bus or Ethernet and makes them available for access by a Profinet IO controller. On the ModBUS side, it operates as a Master device capable of controlling a subnetwork with 128 ModBUS RTU/ASCII slave nodes and managing up to a maximum of 500 variables (TAGs); each ModBUS TAG can be converted to Profinet IO.
Configuration and diagnostics are available through the integrated web server, software suite, Excel template (variable management and export), Simatic TiA Portal environment (when integrating systems with Siemens PLCs) and CODESYS PLC.
