VPN BOX

VPN BOX 2 is the second generation of server connectivity modules designed for compatibility with SENECA devices equipped with LET'S technology. This module represents a major technological advance, featuring a streamlined, intuitive web interface. Unlike the previous generation, VPN BOX 2 is optimised to manage Point-to-Point connections simultaneously, allowing multiple users to manage multiple plants, and Single LAN connections, which allow all plants to be managed as though they were part of a single unified LAN.

This module offers a set of key features, including the ability to configure and mass-update the firmware of field devices, back up data to cloud storage spaces, and establish connections instantly.

The VPN BOX 2 configuration interface is fully accessible through a web server. On the client side, application software called VPN Client Communicator is supplied. This software greatly simplifies communication management, certificate management and network access by individual workstations through a quick and intuitive procedure.

From a security perspective, VPN BOX 2 offers advanced SSL- and VPN-based technologies, ensuring customised, secure control. The module keeps detailed records of access, services and times, providing a high level of security. It supports 256-bit encryption algorithms, uses state-of-the-art security protocols and manages TLS certificates automatically. It has also undergone certified penetration testing in accordance with IEC62443, OWASP, NIST 800-115 and Risk Analysis, ensuring a high security standard.
