USB-ISO

USB-ISO is a compact 5V 1A isolator designed to provide correct isolation between your USB instrument and the PC. With this device, your instrument remains isolated from signal noise originating from the PC's USB socket, while the PC is isolated from any ground loops that could compromise its communication port. USB-ISO provides 2-way galvanic isolation up to 2.5 kVac and has a status LED indicating the presence of power.
Equipped with a USB port (to the instrument), a micro USB port (for external power) and a mini USB port (to the PC), USB-ISO is mandatory when several devices (e.g. multiple MSC calibrators) need to be connected to the same workstation (one isolator for each device). It is also mandatory when your USB calibrator needs to be connected to a grounded circuit or when several calibrators need to be connected simultaneously to the same circuit.

Note1: for use with the MSC calibrator it is mandatory to use the power adapter and cable supplied with the calibrator.

Note2: for use with a generic USB device a 230V - 5V-1A power adapter with USB port and a USB-A cable must be purchased/used<->MiniUSB or USB-A<->MicroUSB depending on the specifications of the device to be protected.
