EtherNet/IP -> ModBUS RTU/ASCII/TCP-IP protocol gateway/converter with 1 serial port

SENECA offers three Ethernet/IP gateway variants that differ in form factor and number of Ethernet ports. The R-KEY-LT Ethernet/IP model is designed to simplify network communications between Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP devices and EtherNet/IP networks. The primary function of this gateway is to operate as a Modbus master to acquire and exchange data with EtherNet/IP devices. Specifically, R-KEY-LT converts Modbus data into EtherNet/IP packets, allowing an EtherNet/IP scanner to control or monitor Modbus devices. In detail, the Ethernet/IP gateway operates as a ModBUS Master device on the serial side and as an Ethernet/IP adapter on the Ethernet side. Modbus requests, such as read or write commands, are configured directly on the devices, automatically generating an EDS file. Once this file is imported into the PLC development software, for example Rockwell STUDIO 5000, all configured I/O will be accessible without further configuration. In addition, up to 3 Modbus TCP-IP servers can be connected alongside the serial devices.
