WARNING! - MAJOR RELEASE 
Firmware 5.x can only be updated from version 4.9.0.0 or later. When updating from earlier versions, the device may freeze and become unusable.

Following a factory reset, the web page and discovery tool will only be available on the LAN interface. To disable the firewall, access Router Configuration and disable the firewall for each interface, or configure a firewall exception rule to specify which ports should be open on each interface.

- Revision of the login lockout mechanism:
- The following parameters are now configurable:
- Maximum number of failed attempts
- Time interval between attempts
- Lockout duration
- The lockout now applies to the user identified by the username (if it actually exists), not to all users
- “admin” users can unblock the locked user
- changing the IP address via discovery is now possible as long as the device remains in factory default mode, rather than just once
- backup & restore: FeRAM management added
- “Firewall Exceptions” page: ability to set the same rule for multiple network interfaces

- “Group Configuration” page: it is now possible to enable a group even without any protocol enabled (for “calculated functions,” tags, and GUI graphs)
- “Machine Name Setup” page: options filtered based on “machine_type” to avoid errors that can cause the card to freeze
