Technical Communication for Z-PASS products update

Since October 2017, industrial gateways Z-PASS1, Z-PASS2 and IEC 61131 CPU/RTU Z-PASS2-S are available with improvements and new functions inspired by usability and technological innovation.

since October 2017, industrial gateways Z-PASS1, Z-PASS2 and IEC 61131 CPU/RTU Z-PASS2-S are available with improvements and new functions inspired by usability and technological innovation.

All models now integrate from 4 up to 6 I/O channels (depending on the model) to handle remote connections, alarms and commands, a security interlock signal for remote access control and VPN connection signallin.

Z-PASS2 and Z-PASS2-S models also feature a new worldwide penta-band modem (with embedded GPS system) designed to provide global network coverage in the UMTS/HSPA+ and GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequency bands.

The new models are also enhanced on the "communication with third party devices" and "test environment side" with Layer2 support and the availability of an advanced virtual server.

However, full compatibility and interoperability with previous versions is maintained and sales prices remain unchanged.
